Sunny Summertime
Rocky Shores. The new zoo exhibit. The kids couldn't get enough of the crazy seals.
The 4th.
Hiking in Colorado. We got caught in a bad storm partway through. I have never been so wet in my life.
My thespians.
Our Spring
Better late than never.
We had a busy spring as we usually do. R had a birthday in May. She graduated from preschool and had a dance recital. Then I had my birthday in June. Lots of fun and it all went by in a flash.
This is what I get when I tell R to give me her best birthday smile. What a clown.
Birthday party with her friends at Kangaroo Zoo.
Slip and Slide on a hot spring day.
Hiked Waterfall Canyon.

Preschool Graduate
Amazingly cute dance recital
R picked me these on a nature walk.
J's work party had glitter body art for the kids.

I Am Still Alive and We Are Moving
We are moving to Colorado. J took a job with a firm in Denver, it seems to be a great opportunity. He will still be a tax manager and still be working in hedge funds.
We are very excited about the move! Some things that we are not excited about are selling our house in a bad market and that J will be leaving to start his job a month or two or three before the kiddos and I will be able to join him.
I will miss our sunny east Ogden cottage and our cute neighborhood with interesting architecture, great neighbors and close proximity to so many trails. It can't be beat. Let's hope we can afford to live someplace just as great when we move.
While living here, I have really got into mountain trail running, basically addicted to the point where I can't enjoy any other type of running. I love the rock-filled paths and how I see such amazing views. There are so many different trails to take I can go a different route every time I am out. Ogden has been a good place to live. We have made an Ogden bucket list and are about half way through it, next up is Japanese food at Tona.
R loves to run too.
