So because we live in Utah there are two holidays that are not celebrated on Sunday, those being the 4th of July and Halloween. Crazy, eh? People have fireworks and trick-or-treating the Saturday before. I was nervous to take R to the first house because I was in disbelief that this was true.
Yesterday we jam packed all the Halloween fun possible into one day for the kids and my body aches from carrying my big baby boy (who hates his stroller lately) around all day. BUT it was a really fun day. First we went to our favorite Trick or Treat destination...Boo at the Zoo. I need to get a zoo membership, I love the zoo and they are getting a huge new exhibit with polar bears in 2012. Then we went to our church's Trunk-or-Treat and it rained on us, but we got to see a gorgeous double rainbow right before we left. Last but not least we did some good old fashioned door to door trick-or-treating. This is the first year that R cared about eating the candy and she definitely had her sugar highs and lows and ate way too much.
Monday is L's birthday! How crazy is it that my baby is a year. Well not that crazy if you do the math, but this year seemed to go quickly.
Happy Halloween to everyone. This is going to be another picturefest, we have some other pictures of the children's museum Pumpkin Party and J's work party mingled in with our Trick-or-Treat ones....so if you aren't interested in looking at lots-o-pictures than stop right -------HERE.

Pumpkin Patch
I took my little pumpkins to the pumpkin patch. It's October and we are obviously excited for fall. R is going to paint/decorate pumpkins while we watch General Conference this weekend. I love Conference weekend... I'm making waffles!
