We just got back from our trip to Colorado and we have been super busy. I went a Dr.'s visit for my bun in the oven and they think it may be a boy at this point (I definitely saw what they were talking about). BUT it is still too early to take it seriously (15 weeks). We were sort of hoping for a girl, mainly because we can pick out great girl names without any trouble but boy names...not so much. The baby looked like he was laying in a hammock and he (or she I guess) kept swatting their hand at the doctor as she used the ultrasound machine.
R went in for her two year appointment and is still small for her age but still holds on to her 90th percentile head circumference( that a girl!).
We had fun on our trip and R really enjoyed spending her birthday with her cousins. Two of her cousins have birthdays within a week of hers. I made her a DJ Lance Rock cake which I thought was really fun to make. While on our trip we also got to catch a Rockies game. It wasn't very exciting to watch but we got really close seats on the third base line, plus free parking and food all for nearly $10 per person. If the Rockies weren't terrible this season they wouldn't need to bribe people to go to the park like that, so I guess one good thing comes out of their stinky playing. Although it is interesting to note that the night before we went, they played the same team (the Giants) and beat them by around 10 points somehow. We should have gone to that game I guess.
My pregnancy is going fine so far. I can still button my normal jeans but they are getting snugger and snugger so I am busting out the maternity pants because they are really comfortable and I wish I could always get away with wearing pants that have elastic waistbands.
